As Senior Director of Credit & Underwriting at Birdsey Group, Troi Russell leads client relationship infrastructure and communication strategy across underwriting engagements. She is responsible for maintaining clear communication channels, defined expectations, and cross-affiliate consistency throughout the due diligence and closing process.
Troi brings more than 15 years of commercial real estate underwriting and client management experience across agency, CMBS, bridge, and equity platforms. She has underwritten conventional and SBL Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac transactions and managed sponsor relationships throughout complex due diligence processes.
Prior to Birdsey, Troi held leadership roles at Basis Investment Group, Capital One, Spring11, and Situs, where she oversaw underwriting teams, client communications, and multi-market portfolio analysis.
Her leadership strengthens the Birdsey Standard through structured communication, defined ownership, and disciplined client alignment.
